  • This book is a quick read giving us a wide variety of tools we can use to fight back against the corruption, incompetence, and abuse of power happening in our government right now. The author gives us hope that WE can DO SOMETHING about this situation. Whether you live in a blue, red, or purple state, there are easily implementable actions you can take that this book clearly outlines for you. If you don't have time to get involved, then just read Part Two of the book that highlights over 50 grassroots organizations that are making a difference. Reading through the one page descriptions of what these organizations do helped me figure out where I wanted to make my donation. Now I really feel like my money is going to good use. Getting this book and implementing the many suggestions it provides CAN make a difference. I strongly encourage everyone to buy one!

  • This book is a treasure, a compendium of what all of us who care about social justice can and must do to fight the far right movement in the US. Gary is upbeat, positive, and a great example of how to continue to be effective in the face of an onslaught against humanity. We must continue to connect with each other and squeeze out extra time to be involved to encourage others to resist, not accept this dystopian vision of the world, and Gary's book is a great roadmap for how to do that. Simple, brief, but many examples of how to proceed. This is a prime example of how to "DO Something!"
